Current Calls for Submissions
“Identity” will be a multimedia special feature targeted towards a variety of backgrounds to highlight individuality and community. Examples of how identity can be interpreted are culture, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, race, nationality, and socioeconomic status. Playing significant roles in how we experience the world, this special feature will be for those in our community to convey their key facets of identity and as a result, allow our readers to experience the world through their lenses by their work.
For this feature, we’re looking for photography, paintings, drawings, fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction, graphic stories or essays, performance poetry accompanied by recordings of the performance, videos, and recordings of original music. The deadline to submit to the Identity project is March 15, 2022.

Art
We’re looking for art related to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. What have you created while in quarantine over the past year? How has the pandemic altered your mood, way of thinking, or creativity? Show us through your art!
Put “Contest” in the subject line and follow all directions for submission on our site. The contest will be held the entire month of March with the last day to submit being March 31, 2021.
Music Reviews and Essays
For a special feature, we’re looking for reviews of albums, songs, performances, or online concerts as well as personal essays about influential songs or albums.
